10 MONTH CORE PROGRAM: This is an interactive, focused and comprehensive experience of 100 + hours that begins in September and ends in June each year.

The program meets one full day each month for approximately 8 hours. Sessions include field trips, site visits, experiential leadership activities, and expert speakers sharing expertise on topics relevant to the day’s theme. Each day focuses on a different and vital aspect of the community (agriculture, environment, government, history, arts, education, health care, public safety, business and economic development, communications, and nonprofits).

The objectives of the program are: to heighten awareness of key business, government and community organizations; to provide in-depth perspectives on community issues and challenges; to increase leadership skills and promote placement in high profile stewardship positions; and to encourage active membership in a life-long network of community leaders.

The 10-month program begins in September and ends in June each year. The application deadline for the upcoming program is June 30. Applications are accepted year round for the next program.

We look for applicants who:

• Plan to live here for an extended period of time or permanently.
• Have a high level of interest in our community.
• Have the ability to attend all the program sessions.
• Are over 21 years of age.

• Include a check for $100 to cover the application fee
  
• Include your resume.
